Kevin Acevedo (aka Kevin Acevedo-Carlson) is a trial lawyer with over 25 years of experience representing clients across Texas and Puerto Rico, in State and Federal courts. Kevin began his career in Puerto Rico, where he spent the first ten years practicing personal injury, complex commercial matters, including contracts, insurance, construction, intellectual property, medical malpractice, employment law and civil rights litigation.<\/p>

Kevin became licensed to practice law in Texas in 2013. After living in Puerto Rico and San Antonio, he relocated to Houston in 2015 to expand his legal practice. For many years, he served as the Head of the Personal Injury, Civil and Criminal Defense departments at The Gonzalez Law Group, helping thousands of clients obtain successful results in the Greater Houston area, including Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Galveston, Brazoria, and surrounding counties.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Bilingual in English and Spanish, Kevin provides accessible legal representation to a diverse community. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for being a fierce advocate in the courtroom and a compassionate counselor outside of it, guiding clients through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. In January 2025, he founded Ace Law, based in Houston, Texas and focuses his practice on Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, Civil and Business Litigation.
